It’s hard to believe that it’s been two decades since Tony first sat in that green chair. One of the greatest and most influential television shows ever made, The Sopranos, debuted January 10th, 1999 on HBO and would conclude June 10th 2007. During its run it amassed 21 Emmys, including two for Outstanding Drama Series, and was revered for its writing, acting, cinematography and complexity.
The cast of the series got together in New York yesterday to celebrate the anniversary and its late star James Gandolfini, who died in 2013.
So here is what the cast looked like in that first season, and 20 years later. The results will leave you wondering what the Soprano secret is.
