So, you’ve got a flat stomach? No? Well, y’know what that means: No crop tops for you, according to O Magazine. A reader asked the magazine the question, “Can I pull off a crop top?” Pretty innocuous, right? Well, the advice given back to the reader was “if (and only if) you have a flat stomach.”
Now, O Magazine is not a satirical news source. In fact, Oprah herself is like queen of the people. So, this advice struck the people in the wrong way. Naturally.
And, as the Internet is wont to do, it struck back. The movement is called #RockTheCrop, and the stomachs doing the rockin’ come in all shapes and sizes.
People did not like being told what to do

They were all “bye Felicia” to O Magazine
Seriously, what’s up O?

Most people will do the opposite of what you tell them to do

Even Tess Holliday got in on it
They aren’t wearing crop tops for anyone but themselves
And you better believe Canadians are on this
So, the next time you wonder: “Can I pull this off?” remember, you can literally wear whatever you want. People may judge, people may laugh, people may high-five you in the streets, but at the end of the day, you matter most, not public opinion. And if you feel good, you look good.
