Everyone loves a good throwback, and apparently the cast of Cheaper By the Dozen is no exception. Since the Baker family couldn’t physically reunite, they gave fans the next best thing… Hilary Duff and other familiar faces from the 2003 family classic took to social media to remind fans of some of the most memorable moments from the film, all for a good cause. Each member of the crew dug through their wardrobe to find an outfit their onscreen characters would have worn, and recreated an iconic moment. The video was fittingly set to “I’m Just a Kid” by Simple Plan, and was shared by Duff, Alyson Stoner, Bonnie Hunt and more with the simple caption, “Surprise! From the Baker family to yours. We are all in this together. #Wearefamily.” The video encourages fans to donate to the No Kid Hungry charity, which aims to end childhood hunger in the U.S. This was especially exciting for fans who haven’t seen the fam get back together (even virtually) since the Cheaper By the Dozen sequel premiered in 2005. The film, which was a remake of the 1950 movie of the same name, became an instant classic and quickly solidified its role as a go-to for family movie night. Naturally, fans got excited over the potential for a reunion. But now, we can’t help but wonder… what about another feel-good sequel? If you watch the video closely, the last image features the number 3 superimposed over Steve Martin's chest. Mind you, Duff is no stranger to reunions these days. The actress and singer recently joined the rest of the Lizzie McGuire cast (another instant classic) to do a virtual table read of the famous (and forever hilarious) bra episode. The zoom recording features no shortage of laughs, and surely reignited fan excitement over the pending Lizzie McGuire reboot. Please you guys, make our 2000 dreams come true.
