Patrick Godfrey, a Wilfred Laurier student in Waterloo, ON may not have André 3000’s flair for fashion but he’s definitely killing it with that hat and shaggy beard—and did we mention a French horn?

Godfrey’s cover of “Hey Ya” looks like it’s going to be just another looping video until the 30 second mark when he whips up the elaborate brass instrument from under the table. Somehow he manages to turn some blowing and chest slapping into a beat and next thing we know we’re shaking it like a Polaroid picture once the horn gets going.

This isn’t the first time Godfrey’s put the classical touch on some pop favourites. He nailed Pharell’s “Happy” and even tackled the Game of Thrones intro, proving that if you want to make something sound both epic and cool, all you need is a horn.

And maybe a hat and a beard.
