Everyone’s favourite Swedish import (next to IKEA, of course) has finally announced they’ll be adding e-commerce to their site this year. After 12 long years of being in Canada, we will soon be able to shop online at H&M! We can practically feel our credit cards shaking in anticipation.

Now that the mega-chain has 78 stores (and counting) in Canada, giving customers the option to buy their must-haves from the comfort of their own home is the next logical step. But, with stores like Zara, and Forever 21 offering us this same option for years now, we have to wonder, what took so long!?

Waiting2

The company won’t give us an exact date for when we can expect to see that “add to cart” button on the site, but have promised that it will be this year. Here’s hoping it’s sooner rather than later, because once summer hits we want to be wearing H&M bikinis, and not dragging ourselves to the mall to buy them.

Now, what we’re really excited about is the fact that, in addition to clothing and accessories, H&M will also be making their housewares available for purchase online! Oh, you didn’t know they had housewares? Well, that’s because they’re currently only available in one Toronto store. Beautiful pillows, statement vases, and even amazingly adorable kids textiles, all super affordable and available to the Canadian masses? We’re totally doing a happy dance.

Happy dance

We just wish it was launching today instead of an unknown near-ish future date. Come on, H&M. Hurry up and take our money!
