Gas station bathrooms are usually the stuff of nightmares.

The smell, the crusted wads of toilet paper, the mystery sludge oozing down the walls — you’re usually better off just holding it in until the next rest stop. But if you ever happen to be travelling through the Philippines, those very same bathrooms should be your go-to destination for digestive relief. Or at least a specific one in the island province of Bohol, anyway.

From the outside, it looks like a normal Shell gas station. But on the inside, boy do things ever change. We’re talking wood trim, model boats, magazine racks and artwork.

Yeah that’s right, fine art. At a gas station. In the bathroom.

You can credit TV personality Jason Godfrey for stumbling upon this holy grail of toilets. Without his video (shown above), we’d probably never believe that such a place existed.

As for the smell inside? He described it as “super menthol.”
