It’s no secret that real estate prices have been getting pretty ridiculous lately. So when a person comes across a really great deal on a property, it’s normal to wonder if there’s something wrong with it.
Take this property we found listed in Brantford, Ontario, for instance. From the outside, this two-bedroom, one-bathroom bungalow seems positively charming at $239,900.
On the outside, there’s a little front porch with pretty white detailing and an extended driveway that fits up to five cars. Heck, it’s even got a little garage off to the back.
Head inside the home, though, and you suddenly realize why it’s such a great bargain…
Do you see it? Maybe the hundreds of tiny figurines and stuffed animals are too obscure in this picture, but the painting on the far right of the photo should clarify it: this is a clown house.
A bonafide, decked out clown house, from top to bottom. The red-nosed clowns are even in the kitchen, adorning the wall and windowsill.
You’d have to really love clowns to have sweet dreams in this bedroom, thanks to the double clown border featured on the walls.
Can we talk about the giant clown in the corner? The one with his own garden, who’s just watching you eat?
This second bedroom is more like a shrine than a place to sleep. Even Ronald McDonald is there, and it probably won’t make you want a Happy Meal.
And that brings us to the basement, complete with shelves stuffed with even more — you guess it — clowns.
Obviously the owners will take their clowns with them, right? It’s not like buying the property means you’ll be inheriting your own circus. Still, if you have a clown phobia, these images could be hard to shake.
Or maybe this house is just the bargain you’ve been looking for. In this market, it probably won’t be available for long — so if you love clowns, you’d better get a move on. Otherwise you’ll just be left Krusty.
