If you’re anything like us at work, once midday hits, your body starts to involuntarily shut down. Your eyes are oh-so strained, your stomach rumbles because you downed your lunch a little too quickly and your butt hurts like hell because you haven’t gotten out of your seat in the last five hours. It’d be great if you could hop onto a mattress, curl up into a ball and take a 20-minute power nap, but alas you’re not at home. You’re at work. (Boo.) And resting your head on that tiny part of your desk that isn’t covered in paper isn’t so appealing. (Double boo.)

But, now, there’s a little hope out there for us midday nap enthusiasts. Casper, a mattress delivery startup, is offering to outfit your office with its very own fancy nap room…Yep, this is not a drill, you guys.

Their Nap Like A Boss contest is asking Canadians (excluding those in Quebec, sorry) to tell ’em why their company deserves to have a professional snooze station. What’s at stake? A nap room that comes complete with two fully fancy beds and a whole lot of pajamas and socks (who doesn’t like free socks, right?)

Um, yes please!

You know what they say, “work hard, nap harder.” OK, we just made that up, but it totally makes sense. Google, Uber and Ben & Jerry’s are all nap room advocates and there’s big data to back them up. Studies have shown that power-naps are more effective than caffeine, they can activate your creative side and even make you more pleasant to be around.

Yes, science is on our (nap) side!
