Getting sick sucks any time of year. It’s such a grind – all day long you’re just sneezing and snotting all over the place, and it’s not a good look. In short, cold season is horrible.

And with your cold comes a ruby red nose, because you’re blowing your nose and rubbing it raw all day. You know that redness, and you might feel like it’s impossible to escape. But there’s some good news: you can cover it up. And even better news: it’s not hard at all.

What you need

  • Moisturizing oil
  • A red neutralizing concealer
  • Usual concealer
  • Set with powder

How it’s done

  1. Take some moisturizing oil (we like Josie Maran’s pure argan oil) and rub it all over your nose
  2. Pick a red neutralizing concealer (like Urban Decay’s colour corrector) and apply to the red areas
  3. On top of the colour corrector, apply your usual concealer
  4. Set with loose powder

To see how this all goes down, check out the video above. The redness just vanishes before your eyes. And we can get behind that.
