We recently asked our style expert, Erica Wark, to show us how to break out of our day-to-day fashion rut by showing us how to wear one pair of pants, five different ways. Now, it’s the men’s turn.

The button-up shirt Erica found is the perfect shirt for spring. It’s got pops of colour without being too in your face. The best part about a classic button-up shirt is that you can either dress it up or down, depending on where you’re going. By changing out the textures and colours you pair with the shirt, you’re outfit will always feel fresh.

Here are five ways to wear it!

LOOK 1: CASUAL

Denim on denim is always a good look. The floral pattern in the shirt offers up a fresh pop of colour without being too overbearing.

LOOK 2: OFFICE

If you don’t have to wear a suit to work, this is a great alternative! Layer the dress shirt with a complimenting sweater and a smart pair of chinos.

LOOK 3: DRESSED-UP

This look is great for a spring wedding, but it can also be worn to work.

LOOK 4: NIGHT OUT

Layer the dress shirt with a long, over-sized T-shirt underneath and skinny chinos for a cool guy vibe.

LOOK 5:TRENDY

This is for the fashion-forward. The key to making this look work is by keeping all accessories minimal.
