When it comes to your typical fall wardrobe, standard neutrals are the go-to for a lot of people, but this season, green is taking over. So many designers had green on their fall runways—and we're talking every shade of green, from pistachio and olive green to forest green and teal. It's a great colour for everyone to play with because it's the closest shade to a neutral in the colour world, much like the way blue works in our wardrobes. Basically, it will work well with other colours in your closet, but it's a little more exciting than your basic brown or black.Stylist Erica Wark shows us four ways to wear some of her favourite shades below.

Look 1: Moss Green

Moss green is an easy shade to dip your toes into. If wearing head-to-toe, make sure you vary your textures like in this outfit with a vegan suede moto jacket from Banana Republic on top of a ribbed sweater. Finish off your look with cognac accessories – the perfect accent to moss green.

Look 2: Forest + Mint Green

Forest and mint green in combination look incredibly fresh for fall. In the cooler months, you want to ground your lighter shades like mint green, so that`s where the forest faux leather leggings from Zara come in, as well as the dark green accessories.

Look 3: Teal + Chartreuse

Teal and chartreuse are two shades of green that make a serious statement when worn together. Since chartreuse is on the brighter end of the green spectrum, the Babaton teal pants and navy and teal plaid jacket ground the look and make it more seasonal.
