Winter can be a real drag.

Whether it’s because you’re slipping and sliding on your icy commute to work, trudging through knee-high snow or fending off the snowflakes that always seem to land right in your eye, it can be a challenge to keep a smile on your face. But it turns out animals seem to have a far better attitude towards the cold season. Maybe it’s because they don’t have jobs or nice clothes to ruin or a fully developed intellectual capacity, but they sure seem to love it. So before you head out for another Arctic journey, get inspired by the animals below. You’ll feel better about the weather outside in no time.

Dog sledding is fun for humans, but even better for the animals. Don’t believe us? You will after watching this:

No toboggan? No problem. Not for this pooch, anyway. The black lab simply uses his body to slide down the snow hills instead. Look out below!

Remember the first time you saw snow? You probably didn’t enjoy it as much as this polar bear cub. The first thing he did? Roll all over the place…then find mom.

Equipped with a jacket, scarf, hood and even little mittens, this monkey is probably better prepared for the cold than you are. Just look at how comfy he looks hopping through the snow!

Forget knee-high, this dog is dealing with neck-high powder. Yet, he still looks happy as ever plowing his way through it all, despite his snow-covered face. Aw.

Speaking of dogs (dogs really seem to like winter, folks), this one couldn’t help but pitch in once he noticed his family building a snowman. Have your pets ever done this before?

Now, here’s something we bet you never thought you’d see: a crow playing in the snow. The little guy somehow found himself a miniature tube, and uses it to slide down someone’s roof. Then he flies it back up and goes for Round 2, no chairlift required!
