Seeing a woman being body shamed online is sadly nothing new, but now men too are feeling the wrath of keyboard warriors who feel compelled to offer unsolicited and often cruel comments on other people’s bodies. It’s a whole lot of UGH. The latest celeb to have the internet’s target placed on their more than adequately chiseled back is Jason Momoa, who is being criticized for letting his six pack drop down to a four pack. The nerve.

The Game of Thrones and Aquaman star was recently photographed by paparazzi while enjoying his vacation in Europe with wife Lisa Bonet and their children Lola and Nakoa-Wolf. Well, he was trying to enjoy his vacation. That is, until social media lit up with users commenting on Momoa’s new ‘dad bod,’ a term we loathe almost as much as ‘mom bod.’ There’s nothing like criticizing parents for any weight fluctuation to truly make a night of interrupted sleep and constant worry over their child’s well-being feel even more overwhelming than it already does. Stop with the mom and dad bods.

The picture of Momoa standing next to a pool in Venice was quickly criticized, with users noting that Momoa was not as ripped as he was while filming Aquaman. First of all, duh. Secondly, we actually like Jason Momoa even more now that we know he spends his time away from set with his family and not in the gym focused on getting into (unrealistic and unsustainable) Aquaman shape. That’s a good thing. It’s a healthy thing.

We want to stress once again that body shaming is gross, and no one should comment on another’s physical form. That being said, AS IF Jason Momoa isn’t still hella hot. AS. IF. Nice try, internet, but we also have eyes and Khal Drogo is still moon of our life, our sun and stars. If you think having a six pack is why the world fell in love with Momoa, you are sorely mistaken. He shaved his iconic beard to help save the world. He takes the best pictures with fans. He supports young female entrepreneurs. And he wore a freaking scrunchie to the Golden Globes. We are not worthy.
