When it comes to marriage proposals, there are heaps of options — especially if you’re going public with it. On the big screen at a sports game. Via a glass of champagne at a swanky restaurant. Flash dances in the square. Writing it out in the sky with the help of an airplane. You get the picture.
This guy however, takes the cake with one of the most public proposals we’ve ever seen. If this doesn’t scream his love for his now-fiancee louder than Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah’s couch we don’t know what does.
You see, James Greig planned the perfect proposal for his girlfriend Katie Moore on Valentine’s Day — by taking out the cover of a magazine. Not just one cover, mind you, but all of them.
The February 14th issue of The Observer featured the Romeo in a suit, down on one knee with a ring in his hand in front of a red backdrop. The headline “Will you marry me, Katie?” was just plastered there for for all to see.
Sounds like it was about time for the couple to make it official. After dating long-distance for quite some time (she was in New York, he was in London), Moore finally moved to London in 2014 to be with her guy.
Obviously she said yes to the shocking proposal (we’re sure he was a wreck too), and the pair are now ready to move forward with the wedding planning. If they plan on topping this in any way, we’re pretty sure that the follow up wedding pictures will pop up in the magazine too.
All together now: awwwwwww.
