It's been years since Madonna and her brother, Christopher Ciccone, have been fighting but it looks like the siblings have finally found a way to come together and make up. It may be all because of their father, Tony Ciccone. It seems Papa preached and his children listened. Madonna and Christopher have been at odds since 2008 when his tell-all book,
Life With My Sister Madonna, was published without her permission, thus straining their relationship. Ciccone has always defended the book, which includes referenecs to many of Madonna's famous exes including Sean Penn, Warren Beatty, Carlos Leon and Guy Ritchie.Christopher, who had previously worked as Madonna's assistant and art director,
said in 2017 that he opted not to write a book about "how horrifying she is or can be," and instead penned something that would get him some recognition for the work he had done with her for 20 years.The year Chris' book came out was the same year Madge filed for divorce from Guy so it was a rough time to say the least. But now, 11 years later, Madonna is seemingly putting the book the past for the sake of their 88-year-old dad."We are at peace now and just spoke last week," Christopher told
RadarOnline.com. Ciccone explained that he recently moved back to Michigan where his father and family own a vineyard and winery and his superstar sister "has been great," adding, "She regularly speaks to our dad while some of our siblings work at the winery. We are all united."
Madonna, who is in the middle of her Madame X Tour, hasn't confirmed or denied any of the reconciliation talk but if Christopher is to be believed, then the Material Girl has opened her heart and is cherishing her brother once again. Ciccone even hopes to catch one of her Miami shows, which are scheduled for December. Madonna plays The Fillmore Miami from December 14 -22. If they can come together, in person, that would be huge strides for the family.
