We already know J.K. Rowling is a wonderful, inspiring woman. Aside from writing those books that you may or may not have read that inspired that movie franchise that you may or may not have seen, she’s also been through and bounced back from a lot, from a bad relationship early on and being an unemployed single mum, to getting diagnosed with clinical depression and contemplating suicide. So needless to say there’s more to Rowling that just (ha, just) Harry Potter.
Rowling has always connected with fans on social media and in real life so when one person tweeted her about wanting to give up, she was more than willing to reach out.
@jk_rowling This may get lost in the noise..but what would you say to someone who has failed to find meaning and wants to finally give up?

It’s so easy to miss posts on Twitter, especially when you have four-plus million followers. So for Rowling to see this may have been a sign, a sign that someone was watching out for this fan who was/is in a very dark place.

.@BrocaesarTV And I'd say, the world is full of wonderful things you haven't seen yet. Don't ever give up on the chance of seeing them.

Rowling kept it light and simple and sweet. Really, it was the absolutely perfect response, perhaps even a life-saving one.
I'm tearing up over here! Humans can truly be amazing to one another. Thank you @jk_rowling and everyone replying.
