The woman who gave the world Harry Potter is about to give us another gift: a brand new children’s book.

Yes, the great J.K. Rowling is penning a new post-Potter children’s novel, but she’s keeping her lips sealed about what it’s really about and when it’ll be available on shelves.

“I have written part of a children’s book that I really love so there will be another,” she said to BBC Radio. “I’m not going to give you an absolute date because things are busy…But I will definitely write more novels under J.K. Rowling.”

The news is super exciting since her last Harry Potter novel was published in 2007. Rowling has dabbled in adult literature as well, publishing four books–two of which were written under the male pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

Rowling fans will be waiting not-so-patiently for more news about her newest foray into children’s literature. We bet many fans who read her books when they were young now have kids of their own, and would love to read her newest book to their wee ones.
