There’s a term in gender identification that goes by “non-binary,” and it means that a person does not present themselves as male, nor female. One such non-binary person is Jaden Smith, and he is now the face of Louis Vuitton’s latest womenswear campaign.
In the ad, Jaden is not only wearing a skirt, but he’s applied some lipstick. There’s also a silk scarf wrapped over his knuckles, he’s donned a leather jacket and his hair has kept its typically floppy way. It’s also shot by Bruce Weber, who has famously shot everyone from River Phoenix to Kate Moss.
Jaden is joined by models Sarah Brannon, Rianne Van Rompaey and Jean Campbell. And when they’re all together? You could easily mistake him for his sister, Willow Smith.
