Jamie Foxx is the latest to be put in Ellen's hot seat where he was asked about his love life — and his answer will surprise you.In the show's segment "Burning Questions," Ellen asked Jamie what his perfect date is. Dawson's Creek," we also didn't expect his actual (joking) answer: reading scriptures. Django Unchained star continued his shenanigans, saying, "That means you get high when you're in the plane? Yes, I smoke. I smoke it up." Ellen pointed out, "That's not what that means and you know it," so Jamie finally got serious, admitting that he is, indeed, a member. Rounding out the intimate questions, Foxx was asked what he wears to bed, to which he replied, "shants." Apparently the actor isn't a fan of his calves (or lack thereof) and prefers bottoms that are long and only show a bit of ankle. Just because he's a member of the mile-high club doesn't mean he likes to show everything off. A little mystery never hurt anyone.
Though Foxx and Holmes never actually confirmed their relationship, we all knew they were together — and had been for over six years. They
split in August 2019, however, and it was reportedly Holmes who
ended things, allegedly because he wasn't the most faithful dude.Shortly after the breakup, Foxx was linked to singer Sela Vave, but he emphatically
denied the rumours, saying he was simply serving as her mentor and nothing more. There were also reports that Jamie and Kate Beckinsale were an item, but the actress took to Instagram to shut down the speculation.
For now, who knows who Jamie goes on perfect dates with, or who may or may not be seeing his shants. If history is any indication, then Foxx isn't going to share that part of his life and simply keep the mystery alive.
