The unofficial star of Sunday night’s Golden Globes red carpet was undoubtedly the Fiji Water Girl. Making the most of her position on the A-list filled red carpet, Kelleth Cuthbert (a Toronto model), who the internet quickly dubbed the Fiji Water Girl, photobombed as many stars as she could during Sunday’s Globes. For her efforts, Cuthbert went viral on Sunday night and kinda became our hero. One celeb who was not impressed with Cuthbert’s background work? Jamie Lee Curtis. Maybe she’s more of a Dasani fan.

Curtis shared a picture from Sunday’s red carpet on her Instagram page, writing that she did not want to inadvertently become a spokesperson for brands that were being advertised at the Globes. Writes Curtis, “I specifically moved away from the blatant promotions by Fiji and Moet where young women with their trays filled with their wares stood near a designated camera. I knew why there was a photographer poised there and I moved away as I said out loud that I didn’t want to be doing advertising for either. Clearly this angle shows that I moved from her being behind me and yet from the side it still happens. The sponsors of events need to get permission from people when they get them to take their picture next to products.”

To be clear, Curtis doesn’t seem to have an issue with Cuthbert, but instead does not want to be associated with a brand that didn’t get her permission. Fair enough, but when it comes to attending events, there’s almost always sponsorship involved. Those giant ferns and yards of red carpet aren’t free.

We didn’t even know the exchange had happened until Curtis posted the picture of Cuthbert photobombing her, with so many other stars taking direct hits from the photobombing kween. She bombed Judy Greer.

She bombed The Marvelous Mrs. Masiel stars Tony Shalhoub and Marin Hinkle.

She scored a pic with Cody Fern and Golden Globe winner Richard Madden.

And she even bombed Sexiest Man Alive Idris Elba and his fiancée Sabrina Dhowre, with bonus accidental bombing by ETALK’s Ben Mulroney.

Jamie Lee Curtis may not have been impressed with Cuthbert’s bombing skills or the plug for Fiji Water, but one person who did appreciate the hustle was James Corden. The English comedian invited Cuthbert onto The Late Late Show With James Corden on Monday night for a skit that had Cuthbert, who looked really well rested after a night of photobombing (maybe we should drink more Fiji Water?), continuing her bomb streak with John David Washington and Alec Benjamin.

We really hope Fiji Water is cutting Kelleth a huge bonus cheque right about now. Girlfriend nailed that product placement.
