Two talented women are set to bring the funny when each hosts a CTV gala later this month.

Aisha Alfa, who appears on season 2 of The Beaverton, will host the Canadian Screen Awards CTV Gala Honouring Excellence in Non-Fiction Programming, which will be streamed live on CTV.ca and the CTV app starting at 7pm on March 26.

The streamcast will also be available live on CTV's Facebook page and YouTube channel and "allow fans to see behind the curtain and better understand how their favourite shows get made," Beth Janson, CEO of the Canadian Academy, shared in a press release.

More than four dozen awards will be handed out during the evening dedicated to the best nonfiction TV talent and programs.

The next night, Arden, whose new series Jann premieres on CTV March 20, takes the helm to host the CTV Gala Honouring Excellence in Creative Fiction Storytelling and more than 40 trophies will be awarded, going to the top TV acting, directing, editing and more.

Both events are part of Canadian Screen Week (March 25-31), which shines a spotlight on the top-shelf work happening in Canada on the small and big screen, and culminates with the Canadian Screen Awards Broadcast Gala on Sunday, March 31.

Among the CSA nominees are etalk's own Danielle Graham and Lainey Lui, for Best Hosts of a Web Program or Series for their Academy Awards pre-show, Etalk Live: The Oscars Balcony, The Social co-hosts, TV vet Marilyn Denis and maybe the most outspoken CSA nom of all, Jerry O'Connell.
