If there’s a bar for exes, Jennifer Aniston is setting it. The actor is continuing to prove that you can be friends with your exes, even if they’re considered to be one of the most beautiful men in the world. We’d like to say we could be as big a person as Aniston, but it’s highly unlikely.Jennifer Aniston threw her annual tree-trimming party over the weekend and invited many of her famous friends, along with her most famous ex. According to People Magazine, Aniston’s ex-husband Brad Pitt was in attendance for the yearly event, which we’re assuming was much cooler and Hollywood than a tree-trimming party sounds. Do celebrities actually decorate their own trees? Maybe they just throw some tinsel on at the end. “The annual tree trimming party is always Jen’s favorite to host,” a source close to Aniston told People, adding “She loves Christmas. As usual, a large group of friends attended.”This is the second major invite to an Aniston shindig that Pitt has scored this year, with Aniston also inviting her ex to her 50th birthday party in February. Aniston threw herself a party at L.A.’s Sunset Tower Hotel and according to People, she also invited another ex, John Mayer. And his ex, Katy Perry. Oh, and Pitt’s other ex, Gwyneth Paltrow. Hollywood parties sound like high school reunions that we do want to attend.A source close to the celebs told People that Aniston and Pitt have stayed in contact this year, adding “They have been in touch a few times since her birthday and are keeping it friendly.” In addition to Pitt, Aniston’s tree-trimming party also included Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Jimmy Kimmel, who we assume was there to cut the tension with some comic relief.Pitt was asked about a possible reconciliation with Aniston in May by a paparazzi and responded with an “OMG,” so yeah, expect their status to remain as ‘Just Friends’ for the foreseeable future.Aniston appears to be making it a habit of staying on good terms with her exes, which we both applaud her for and can’t relate to in any way. Her annual pre-Thanksgiving feast this year included ex-husband Justin Theroux, who attended Aniston’s Friends-giving along with many of her famous friends, including Courtney Cox, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Kimmel. The couple also reunited earlier this year to say goodbye to their beloved dog Dolly, who the couple raised together.Aniston and Pitt were married in 2000 after two years of dating and divorced in 2005. In 2011, Aniston and Theroux began dating and were married in 2015, separating two years later. Aniston has not revealed whether she is currently dating anyone, but if she is and things don’t work out, there’s a good chance this guy has an invite to all future parties. She’s not only a great girlfriend/wife, but an outstanding ex and host as well.[video_embed id='6001319977001']Justin Theroux had a special message for Jennifer Aniston on her birthday[/video_embed]
