Jennifer Garner may be asking for a measuring tape next Christmas, or perhaps a ladder. The actress-turned-hilarious-Instagrammer just shared a video of her brand new Christmas tree and it’s, um, generously proportioned. “So I told my kids we could go bigger because we were in a rental house and it has a really big foyer,” Garner says, standing in front of the tree. “But then it was delivered and I’m not sure this was the tree we picked out.”As the camera pans back, the Christmas tree is revealed to be approximately twice Garner’s height. “It’s a little aggressive!” the actress adds with a laugh, hashtagging the post #aggressiveChristmas. Well, at least it’s beautiful? And we bet Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, Garner’s children with ex Ben Affleck, will love it. (There’s a LOT of room for presents under there!)

We hope Garner appreciates the smell of fresh evergreen, because the massive tree appears to be real (and spectacular). Famous friends like Reese Witherspoon were quick to echo Garner’s amused reaction, with the Morning Show star commenting “Whoa!” on the post. Katie Couric joined in the fun, commenting, “OH EM GEE that tree has some serious BTE (big tree energy) ???”. Well said, Katie - #BigTreeEnergy is the mood we should all be carrying into 2020.While the reason for Garner’s rental home for the holidays isn’t clear, it may involve the filming of her new Netflix film, Yes Day, which she’s producing as well as starring in. The movie is based on a children’s book of the same name by Tom Lichtenheld and Amy Krouse Rosenthal, in which parents attempt to make it through an entire day of saying “yes” to all of their children’s requests - anything from going to the zoo to having candy for breakfast. Garner has long been vocal about participating in an annual ‘Yes Day’ with her own children, which explains her enthusiasm for the project. Now, which one of her kids asked for the massive Christmas tree?
