We all know it—Canadians are funny people, and it looks like homegrown talent with proper comedy chops are going to be on full display at the Canadian Screen Awards this year.

The Canadian Academy announced Thursday that this year’s Awards Broadcast Gala will feature a host of funny Canadians, including Jann Arden (who’s currently starring in her new comedy Jann), Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) and Jerry O’Connell (Carter).

Other notables presenters include Kim Coates (Bad Blood) and the hilarious casts of Baroness von Sketch Show and Kim’s Convenience who will also present awards.

McCormack is set to present the Academy Icon Award to prioneering sketch comedy group The Kids in the Hall while comedian Johnny Harris (Murdoch Mysteries) and Susan Kent (This Hour Has 22 Minutes) will present the lifetime achievement Earle Grey Award to Mary Walsh.

Shamier Anderson will also be on hand to present his brother (and one of our personal faves) Stephan James with the inaugural Radius Award for “making waves globally.” That’s sure to be a sweet moment!

The CSAs go down on March 31 and will cap off Canadian Screen Week, a week-long celebration of Canadian screen talent including several galas, festivals and screenings.
