Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary, located just outside of Toronto in King City, Ontario, is a gorgeous 50 acres of green fields, rolling hills, and wooded areas all dedicated to one thing—helping animals! And despite what the name implies, there’s a whole lot more than dogs hanging around the beautiful sanctuary.

Founded in 2014 by Rob and Danielle, an animal-loving husband and wife team, Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary is the perfect location for neglected or abused animals to heal, be rehabilitated, and eventually find a forever home. While most eventually end up moving on to live with a new family, some stay—and Dog Tales is a home for them as long as they need it to be.

Jeez, who’s cutting onions in here? We’re not crying, you are.

Our very own Jess Allen visited this incredible spot and discovered there are way more than just dogs that live there. Check out the video above to see her spend time with horses, pigs, and (begrudgingly) chickens.

You can catch Season 2 of Dog Tales Rescue on Gusto at 9:30p ET every Tuesday! Check out the first episode below.
