John Legend is the Sexiest Man Alive, and of course Chrissy Teigen had things to say about it

They're bringing sexy back.

If you're a coach on The Voice, there's apparently a good chance you'll be crowned People's Sexiest Man Alive. Because the latest PSMA just happens to be John Legend, following in the footsteps of 2017's sexy dude Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine before him.Legend met the news with mixed emotions, perhaps after seeing what Shelton went through. "I was excited, but I was a little scared at the same time because it's a lot of pressure," the 40-year-old singer told People. "Everyone's going to be picking me apart to see if I'm sexy enough to hold this title. I'm [also] following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!" It may not be nice to John, but John himself is as nice as they come, and that only adds to his overall sexiness.Also a factor in Legend's sexiness? That he's happily married to Chrissy Teigen and a devoted dad to their two children, Luna and Miles. Come on, there's nothing sexier than a hard-working man who shows his love for his wife and kids. How many people can say that about themselves? John is clearly a worth recipient of the honour and deserves all the attention and praise that are coming his way, but we have to admit that the first thing we wanted to know was Chrissy's reaction. Unsurprisingly, she didn't disappoint.First, she obviously knew it was going to be announced and could barely contain herself. Then came the big reveal! Note that she used "boned" and not "married." LOLOL. Best. Hashtag. Ever. Really, though, there was just sheer love for this photo. You can almost feel Chrissy drooling. Miles and Luna told us how they really feel and it's basically the kid-ified equivalent to "meh." Then loving wife Chrissy left the room and jokester Chrissy returned in her place. Ooooh, the cheese. Pfft. Like Teigen was going to fall for it. Chrissy did try to reassure John that he deserved the title... ...but then brought us all back to reality. If this continues into 2020, consider us all winners. Congrats to John. And, in her own amazing way, to Chrissy as well.
