If you had to guess what Jon Stewart’s first gig would be after retiring from The Daily Show earlier this month, what would you say? A stand up comedy tour? A new talk show? The Stewart Post? If you guessed any of the above, you are very wrong. Believe it or not, J-Stew’s first gig will be in professional wrestling.

It was just announced that Stewart has been named the official host of the WWE’s big SummerSlam event this Sunday night live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Stewart, who is regarded as “a longtime member of the WWE Universe” by the company, will be mixing it up with tough guy superstars like The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar and John Cena.

Stewart is actually a giant WWE fan and was a special guest on an episode of Monday Night Raw earlier this year when he was feuding with evil WWE Champion Seth Rollins.

You can watch Stewart in action with the WWE below.
