If “Sucker” was the Jonas Brothers’ triumphant return to the music scene, “Cool” is the sophomore single that proves wives and several years away from the music haven’t changed them one bit. Anyone else getting “Love Bug” vibes within the first few seconds of the video? Just us?

See for yourself.

Kevin, Nick and Joe have always been good at heaping on the humour so we all know they don’t take themselves too seriously (remember that Disney Channel series? We rest our case) and “Cool” is not only an ultra-cheesy ’80s-inspired pastel romp of a video, the song’s references poke fun at the lives and careers of the boys. Did you catch them all?

There’s a reference to a “red dress” (a now infamous “Burning Up” lyric), Game of Thrones (shout out to Joe’s fiancée, Sophie Turner), Post Malone (who referenced them in “Better Now”) and Nick’s last solo album, Last Year Was Complicated.

Also, to answer the question posed by Nick in the song—yes, Mr. Chopra, we’d say you’re having a good year.

And we are too because, in case you’ve made it this far without realizing it, THE JONAS BROTHERS ARE BACK.

We’re a little excited, but we’re definitely not the only ones. Justin Bieber (you know, the guy who took over the JB initials after the Jo Bros disbanded) posted an Instagram story of himself and wife Hailey jamming out to “Sucker” in the car this week—a scene we know all too well from our own cars.

So, when’s that tour happening, guys?
