Jordyn Woods has moved on from the Tristan Thompson scandal

It’s been one year since news broke that Kylie Jenner’s best friend and constant companion Jordyn Woods acted inappropriately with NBA player Tristan Thompson, who at the time was dating Jenner’s sister, Khloe Kardashian. The scandal led to the end of Thompson’s relationship with Kardashian, whom he shares a child with, but the public fallout was much greater for Woods, who was painted as the villain in the affair. Now the aspiring actor has decided that she’s done apologizing for the role she played and is ready to move forward with her life.A source close to Woods told People Magazine this week that Woods is trying to move forward from the scandal and is instead focusing on her professional life. Woods spent much of her childhood around TV sets with her father, a sound engineer who worked on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Woods’ father became friends with actor Will Smith, with the two families remaining close after the show wrapped. Woods has now ventured into the TV world herself, booking her first role on Grown-ish in 2019. “She’s working. She had a stint on a TV show and she has a couple brand deals coming up,” the source told People. “She’s not doing too, too much, but is staying busy.”

Following her role on Grown-ish, Woods booked a role on the BET’s 2019 movie Sacrifice starring Paula Patton and has also been continuing her work as a model, releasing a limited edition clothing line with B_nd and appearing as the face of Boohoo.Woods found herself in the middle of one of the biggest celebrity stories of 2019 when she was caught kissing Thompson. Kardashian publicly blasted Woods for her part in the affair, with the isolated event taking place at Thompson’s house while the pair hung out with mutual friends. Kardashian initially said that Woods was the reason she and Thompson were no longer together, but later admitted that Woods did not deserve all the blame and has publicly forgiven both Woods and Thompson.
