The very public fallout between the Kardashian family and newly-ousted insider Jordyn Woods is continuing to unravel, with each loose thread messier than the one before. The latest news out of the reality-world-turned-real-world is that Tristan Thompson is not the first of Khloe’s exes that Jordyn has hooked up with (exes feels like an odd term since the couple were together at the time of the affair, but you know what we mean). Following Khloe’s breakup with NBA player James Harden, Woods and Harden also had a brief fling.

According to Us Weekly, “Jordyn did hook up with James Harden after Khloé dated him first,” with the source noting that Kardashian was “not with him at the time.”

The source goes on to say “Khloé knew that that happened before this Tristan Thompson fiasco. That’s not news to her. It wasn’t an issue at the time, but it does show now that Jordyn has a history of omitting facts and crossing lines.”

The magazine does not specify when Woods and Harden were together or for how long, but a source does say that Woods initially denied the hook up in front of the Kardashians.

The latest piece of the messy affair puzzle comes just one day before Woods is scheduled to appear on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook series Red Table Talk. Woods it is a longtime family friend of the Smiths, so it makes sense that Jada would give the publicly shamed 21-year-old the chance to do some damage control. We all know that the Kardashians have no shortage of outlets to get their narrative across, so it only seems fair that Jordyn gets the chance to explain her side and most likely publicly apologize.

Appearing on many episodes of Keeping up with the Kardashians, Woods would’ve had to sign an NDA, so we don’t know how much she’s actually going to be able to say during Friday’s Red Table Talk episode, but you can bet the Kardashians will be watching with their lawyers on speed dial.

While we do feel sorry for both Khloe and Kylie Jenner, we also have a lot of empathy for Jordyn Woods. She did a crappy thing, but we’ve all done crappy things in our early 20s. And our early 30s. If we make it through the month without doing a single thing we regret, that’s cause for celebration. The public shaming of Woods has been sickening to watch, with Thompson essentially getting a pass.

There has been one big idea floating around our office since news of the affair broke last week. As Season 16 of Keeping up with the Kardashians approaches, the reality series appears to be, for the first time, lacking any real bombshell story. Babies have been born, weddings have been celebrated, divorces have been finalized, transitions have been completed, and thankfully no one in the family has been held at gunpoint again. If there’s one thing we’ve learned from the rise of the Kardashian family, it’s that Kris Jenner is a mastermind in making a relatively unwatchable family look captivating on-screen. As Kylie Jenner’s closest friend and someone who has been a part of the Kardashian family for years, it’s never sat well with us that Woods would make the conscious decision to engage in an activity that she knows would result in her banishment from the family. Unless… unless she drew the short straw and agreed to repay the family for years of living the A-list life by taking one for the team and becoming the Season 16 story.

It’s a thought.
