After more than a week of anticipation, Jordyn Woods appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook series Red Table Talk to “tell her truth” about the drama surrounding her, the Kardashians and Tristan Thompson. Rumours have been swirling since last week that Jordyn and Tristan—the father of Khloe Kardashian’s daughter, True—were making out and cuddling at a house party shortly after Valentine’s Day.

In the aftermath of the drama, Jordyn (who has been BFFs with Kylie Jenner since childhood) has been shamed by Kardashian fans and cut off entirely by the family. Since the Smiths have known Jordyn’s family for decades, with her late father a sound engineer on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Jada offered Red Table Talk as a platform for her to tell her side of the story.

According to Jordyn, 21, very little of what has been publicly reported is true. In fact, she’s willing to take a lie detector test to prove it, a statement she repeated at least three times during her chat. She was clear throughout the talk that she was never alone with Thompson, 27, and said the stories about her behaviour have been wildly exagerrated if not completely fabricated.

“Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting all over him,” Woods told Pinkett Smith. “We’re all together, we’re in a group, never once did we leave the public area—go to a bedroom, go to a bathroom—we’re all in plain sight.”

She did admit, however that there was one moment that may be considered a betrayal: Thompson kissed her on the lips before she left his house at 7 a.m.

“If you’re looking for a story, I can see why that would be the story,” she said."I didn't know how to feel," Woods said when Pinkett Smith asked if she was shocked by the kiss. "I was like, 'That didn't just happen.'"

She added that when she came home and talked to Khloe, she didn’t tell her what happened because she was “trying to protect Khloe’s heart.”

“I’m no homewrecker,” she said. “I would never try to hurt somebody’s home, especially someone that I love and someone who has a beautiful daughter.”

She did admit that being at Tristan’s house after having gone out to a bar with friends was a mistake, though she doesn’t believe she deserves “public crucifixion.”

“I’m not thinking ‘I shouldn’t be here’ and that’s my first step where I went wrong,” she said. “And how I would feel if someone I knew was hanging out at my ex’s house or the father of my child – I didn’t think about that. And that’s the first part of the problem. I shouldn’t even have been there.”

“I may have done something wrong, but whatever I did, I don’t deserve this,” she said. "I know I'm not the reason Tristan and Khloe are not together."

Jada was sympathetic to Jordyn but, but there was at least one person who wasn’t convinced, Khloe herself.

Woods was also clear that the scandal isn't part of scheme to grab ratings or get more people to watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians. If the Kardashian-Jenner family can ultimately forgive Woods and get past the drama now that she'ss had a chance to explain her side of the story remains to be seen.
