Want a hot treat on a cold winter night? We’re bringing you plenty, but this one is creamy and delicious, and perfect for cozying under a blanket. One whiff of this coconut-infused treat from bar consultant Joshua Groom will put you in the happiest, warmest place. Enjoy! Serves 1. 

What you need

  • 1.5 oz Chic Choc rum
  • 4 oz. Thai Kitchen coconut milk
  • 1/2 oz. orange liqueur
  • 1 dash orange bitters
  • 1 oz. maple syrup
  • 1 oz. water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 0.03 oz. nutmeg

How it’s made

  1. Load all wet ingredients into a pot until it reaches a heavy steam.
  2. Double-strain into a mug to ensure there is no leftover grit and residue.
  3. Garnish with grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
