JT and Alfonso still have the moves
You know what’s better than Alfonso Ribeiro doing the Carlton? When Justin Timberlake joins him. The two were taking part in a celebrity golf tournament when Alfonso shanked his drive on the 17th hole. The exasperated star tossed his club in frustration and to cheer him up, Timberlake egged him on to do the dance. JT then joined in.
However brief it may be, these two together is a throwback to ’90s boy bands and awesome ’90s sitcoms. Those were the days.
That time a dead dude was found in Demi Moore’s pool
The body of a 21-year-old man was discovered in the swimming pool at Demi Moore’s Beverly Hills home on Sunday morning. That’s probably the last news she expected to hear that day.
According to TMZ, Demi’s caretaker threw a party and the victim was one of the guests. He reportedly slipped in overnight, didn’t know how to swim, and now we’re left with this awful ending. Police are still investigating.
Demi issued a statement: “I am in absolute shock. I was out of the country travelling to meet my daughters for a birthday celebration when I got the devastating news. The loss of a child is an unthinkable tragedy and my heart goes out to this young man’s family and friends. I ask that you please respect the privacy of all concerned during this sensitive time.” So tragic.
Cee Lo Green dropped his new song “Robin Williams,” a tribute to the late star
In Cee Lo’s first solo single in more than two years, the singer and former Voice coach is introducing his upcoming album by mourning the late, great Robin Williams. An example of some of the lyrics: “Oh what a night, oh what a night, Tears in my eyes, staring up at the sky in disbelief, I’ve got a voice in my head, voice in my head, that’s what it said, All we really need is comic relief, But I’m afraid of not being able to laugh anymore.” Cee Lo also references other deceased stars like John Belushi, Richard Pryor, and Philip Seymour Hoffman, lamenting the loss of “heroes.” He sings about laughing the pain away and, well, wouldn’t that be nice, to heal through music? Yup, we’ll take it.
Ed Sheeran helped his pal pull off a sweet proposal
Ed doesn’t only sing about love, he also makes romantic moments happen. On Sunday, the guitar-wielding ginger helped his friend and fellow musician Jake Roche (of British pop band Rixton) propose to his girlfriend, Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson.
A year ago today I met her at manchester arena, so it was only right, with a little help from my friend, that this happened. Best day of my life. A photo posted by Jake Roche (@jake_rixton) on
Roche added that Sheeran journeyed to them to ensure that it all went down without a hitch.
Well done, Ed! And congrats to Jake and Jesy!
Caitlyn Jenner and Laverne Cox together is a beautiful sight to behold
The two tend to be mentioned in the same stories (oh media, you’re so predictable) so it only makes sense that Caitlyn and Laverne would eventually meet. And they did just that on Sunday at an advance screening of Jenner’s reality series, I Am Cait.
@caitlynjenner and I finally met in person at a special private advance screening of #IAmCait. #TransIsBeautiful #girlslikeus #caitlynjenner A photo posted by laverne cox (@lavernecox) on
