One of the biggest highlights from the CMAs last night came courtesy of the most unlikely country superstar in the building, Justin Timberlake. Yes, that Justin Timberlake.

JT proved that he is truly a Nashville boy at heart when he took the stage in his hometown to perform a duet with the CMA’s “Best New Artist” for 2015, Chris Stapleton.

The duo performed a pair of alcohol-inspired songs from each of their catalogues, first playing Stapleton’s slow jam “Tennessee Whiskey,” then a countrified version of JT’s “Drink You Away.” Both songs were excellent, and Timberlake continued to prove to us that he can pretty much do anything.

This means we’re eventually going to get a JT-Memphis-inspired country album right? We just have to.

Watch JT killing it at the CMAs above.
