If you’re a fan of Grey’s Anatomy, then you’ve already seen the clip of the winter premiere, in which Meredith is brutally attacked by a patient. That look on her face as she lies on the floor with panicked eyes, waiting for someone, anyone, to find her is eerily reminiscent of one of the scariest scenes from ER we’ve ever seen.
So you’ve seen the first trailer, you’ve heard the ominous flatline sound, but what you haven’t seen is how the docs and her friends react in the aftermath. It’s all hands on deck as nearly everyone comes to her aid. Webber is there, so is Hunt and April and Ben and then Karev walks in, looking very un-Karev-like. But there’s one doc, in particular, the others decide against notifying.
The episode, “The Sound of Silence,” is directed by Denzel Washington, marking his first foray in directing television. And he’s clearly bringing his big-screen cred to the small screen because this is about as edge-of-your-seat as it gets. Thursday can’t come fast enough.
Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV
