Ever since Justin Bieber and Hailey
Baldwin Bieber revealed that they were going to have a traditional wedding ceremony following their secret courthouse marriage, fans have been anxiously awaiting the big day. Initially they put off wedding planning because things were getting too “intense” but, newsflash: Wedding planning can be intense, and annoying as hell.
They apparently got into it, and eventually nailed down a date: February 28. Once again though, things got complicated and the Biebers’ Wedding Extravaganza has been officially postponed yet again.
TMZ is reporting that the perfect day the Biebers originally lined up is actually not so perfect. This week the couple informed their 300 guests to disregard Feb. 28 and go about that day like any other day, everyone will be notified once a new date has been chosen.
The reason for the change, according to the gossip site, is that the couple learned some of their loved ones “couldn’t make it to Los Angeles for the weekend of Justin’s birthday at the beginning of March, as was originally planned.” Insiders are also saying the new date won’t be anytime soon.
According to the sources, Justin and Hailey “want to properly plan it this time” and give their guests “plenty of warning.” It could even be a destination wedding, which could cut down the number of guests quite significantly — unless the couple is feeling generous and decides to foot the bill on flights or a private plane. We’re betting on generosity and a big wedding.
Perhaps the pair thought that since they already exchanged vows, there would be less stress. But, nope! Still super-stressful! Maybe even more so; now they have to make it epic for their guests (Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, Drake and Chris Brown are just some of the stars who reportedly scored invites) because it’s been built it up so much.
A word of advice to Justin and Hailey: you can’t please everyone. If there are people who can’t make it, then that’s on them. Though, really, if you are close enough to warrant an invite, don’t you juggle your schedule and do whatever you have to do to make it? This is kind of a big deal and if you have to miss work, reschedule elective surgery, or cancel your own wedding to attend the Biebers’, then that’s what you do, right??
