Looks like Justin Bieber struck again.

The singer wasn’t exactly welcome at a high school prom he crashed last weekend. At least, not by the school’s officials. While administrators contend that the Biebs literally shoved his way into the event, the young prom goers inside couldn’t have been happier to see him.

In short, a lot of teenage screaming ensued.

According to TMZ, the L.A. Unified School District believes the surprise appearance put students at risk, saying that “His entourage pushed past the school’s security to gain access to the dance floor”, which left administrators concerned that they wouldn’t be able to control the crowd.

While the concern seems strange, we guess they had a bit of a point:

Bieber’s rep, who says the singer was in the area to do a recording on the lot, argued that nobody tried to stop the star when he entered the prom at the request of students he met nearby. He added “It’s unfortunate they’re trying to make this a negative thing. It was awesome for all the kids.”

The good news is, there haven’t been any reports of students being injured at the prom. As for Bieber? He only had this to say of his time there:

Talk about a (teenage) dream come true.
