Justin Theroux really, really loves his dog. At this week’s premiere of Disney’s Lady and The Tramp remake, which stars Theroux and Tessa Thompson, Theroux brought his beloved pooch Kuma and even recreated the film’s iconic spaghetti scene. That’s amore.Posing with Kuma on the red carpet and again at the after party at The Tuck Room (more like The Pup Room), Theroux and Kuma shared a seat at a bistro table complete with a plate of pasta and meatballs and a burning candle. Displaying why Theroux should be the next Caesar Milan, the actor expertly taught Kuma how to share a piece of spaghetti. This dog is made for show business!Justin Theroux and KumaIt’s almost as if they’ve been practicing…

Theroux rescued Kuma in 2018 after Hurricane Harvey, changing her name from Sylvia to Kuma and giving her a taste of the high life. Plus, pasta.  And Kuma’s skills aren’t just being wasted at the dog park; the Hollywood pet scored a role in dad’s new movie as Pound Dog #3. Nepotism in show business even happens with four-legged kids.Kuma wrote about her experience on the set of Disney’s Lady And The Tramp, sharing her thoughts on dad Justin’s Instagram page. Kuma, who has excellent typing skills for someone with no thumbs or fingers, wrote “…this project and this Part (Pound dog #1, which is temporary bc @disneyplus promised me a real character name) anyway, this part rrrrealllly took it out of me (I’m method, which I know has been tough on everyone, so thank you) but I am VERY excited to show you all of my hard work.” Already learning the importance of self-care, Kuma added “I’m gonna take a week off to reconnect with myself before I start the Oscar slash awards push or whatever.” Stay humble, Kuma.
A devoted dog dad, Theroux is rarely seen without his trusty sidekick. Whether it’s celebrating Pride Month, travelling the country, or even posing on magazine covers, Theroux and Kuma are our new favourite Hollywood couple.
Theroux’s love for his dogs runs deep, with the actor still in mourning his beloved dog Dolly. The death of the white German Shepherd reunited Theroux with ex Jennifer Aniston as the pair came together to say their final goodbye to their cherished pet. “Tonight, at sunset, after a heroic struggle... our most loyal family member and protector, Dolly A. laid down her sword and shield,” wrote Theroux on Instagram. “She was surrounded by her entire family.”
Celebrating Dolly earlier this month, Aniston attended a press event for her new series The Morning Show and wore a necklace that featured Dolly’s face surrounded in diamonds. In our next life we’d like to be a dog rescued by Justin Theroux or Jennifer Aniston.[video_embed id='1811322']Justin Theroux loves Jennifer Aniston's Instagram[/video_embed]
