When it comes to weddings, guests can sometimes be confused as to how much money to pop into an envelope or what gift they should grab from a registry. But Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook made it easy for their friends and family this past weekend. No, it wasn’t a “just bring yourselves” kind of event; but they did ask their loved ones to do something a little different on their big day. And considering their mutual affection for four-legged creatures, it shouldn’t be too surprising.

Way to go, Norman (and Kaley and Karl)! They scored all kinds of goodies for Paw Works, a non-profit animal rescue shelter organization in Ventura County, California. The Big Bang Theory actress has been a donor for years and also sits on the board.

Cuoco is photographed with her dogs and horses so often, she might love ’em more than Cook. (Kidding.) Really, though, Kaley is more than just one of the highest-paid actors on television; she’s also an accomplished rider and competes in show-jumping events. Which makes professional equestrian Karl her perfect guy.

But it’s not just dogs and horses. There was that time Kaley spontaneously adopted two rabbits. Just because. And things took a turn.

Pfft, like Karl’s complaining.

There are sometimes chickens too.

But it’s her four dogs that Kaley is at the mercy of.

ICYMI, Kaley and Karl’s wedding happened on June 30 and animals were a big part of it. It was equestrian-themed, of course.

And the bride and groom each got to spend some time with their horses.

Aww. These two … er, three. What’s not to love?
