Hollywood relationships may move faster than your average coupledom, but after years of experience in the biz (and in love), Bachelor super-fan and former The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco is taking it slow when it come to her marriage to champion equestrian Karl Cook. Like, real slow. The pair wed in 2018 after dating for two years, but they’ve never actually lived together because of work circumstances. But now that Kuoco is wrapping filming in New York City on her latest project, The Flight Attendant for HBO Max, she and Cook are finally going to move in together next month. The pair plan on moving into the $12 million California home they bought together in Hidden Hills, where renovations have finally been completed.[video_embed id='1685005']RELATED: Things you may not have known about 'The Big Bang Theory'[/video_embed]“We are built, we are so excited,” Cuoco told Extra. “We have not spent an evening in it yet. Actually Karl has been at home and I said ‘Why don’t you go and stay at the house?’ but he’s waiting for me to get there and have all the animals there. So when I wrap in April, that will be our first time in our new house. We are going steady. He gave me his letterman jacket and we are moving in together.”The 34-year-old shocked her fans last year when she revealed that she and Cook don’t actually reside in the same household, choosing instead to live in separate locations while they focused on work. “We have a very unconventional marriage,” she said at the time. “I think personally it’s important, it works well for us.”

The goal has always been for Cuoco and Cook to move into their “dream house” when it was ready, so they were definitely surprised when their habitation arrangements became newsworthy. “I made headlines saying that we don’t live together yet. And people went crazy,” Cuoco said on The View last year. “They couldn’t believe it… We just haven’t been under the same roof. But by the way, it’s been working great and we love it. We love it, so I don’t know why people have such an issue.”To be fair, people have always been invested in Cuoco’s love life, probably given that she starred in the top-rated comedy on television for 12 seasons. (Naturally, a majority of her character’s storyline revolved around dating—and eventually marrying—the “geeky” guy next door.) During that time she secretly dated her co-star, Johnny Galecki, and she also surprised fans with her 2013 wedding to Ryan Sweeting. They split 21 months later and finalized their divorce 2016, the same year she started dating Cook. For the most part, Cuoco has been pretty open about her relationships, which could also be why fans care so much. On March 9 Cuoco even revealed that with Cook she wasn’t head over heels right away, but that could be why they’re so well matched. “I don’t think it was love at first sight for us,” she told Us Weekly. “We had met and it was like a weird meeting. It kind of happened later.”Now that the not-so-newlyweds are finally ready to graduate to roommates, it sounds as though Cuoco might have a harder time saying farewell to The Big Apple than she thought.“I’m shooting here and I love it,” she said recently. “I just love the area and my apartment building is right in between a dog park and a rabbit rescue. So it’s built for me. I’m the girl that goes and sits in the park and watches the dogs run around like a creeper because I can get kind of my fill. And then I go into the pet store and I see the rabbits.”Guess it’s a good thing for Cook that they have rabbits and dogs (not to mention horses) in California too.[video_embed id='5122841087001']Before you go: Puppy realizes he's at dog park, goes absolutely bonkers[/video_embed]
