Not since Jennifer Aniston has anyone made this many headlines for her hair
With two kids under the age of three at home, most moms feel the need for a little change, particularly when it comes to hair. Of course, this is Duchess Kate we’re talking about, and since her home is actually a palace, you’d think she was a little different. But she’s not.
Kate debuted her new hairstyle as she and Prince William headed to Crathrie Kirk, the Queen’s Balmoral estate in Scotland, for Sunday service.
Of course, for those on Kate hair watch, you already know this isn’t the first time. She’s tried out bangs before, a year before Prince George was born. It’s pretty much the same deal this time around: They’re long, thick and kind of make her look a little older (see above), but perhaps that’s the look she was going for. Either way, she sure knows how to get tongues a-wagging.
Vanessa Williams gets her Miss America apology
It was a little surprising that Vanessa Williams was a judge at Sunday night’s Miss America pageant, given the fact that 32 years ago, despite being crowned the first African-American Miss America, she was forced to give up the title after Penthouse published explicit photos of her. But during the pageant, executive chairman Sam Haskell brought her up on stage and apologized on behalf of the organization.

“You have lived your life in grace and dignity and never was it more evident than during the events of 1984 when you resigned. Though none of us currently in the organization were involved then, on behalf of today’s organization, I want to apologize to you and to your mother, Miss Helen Williams. I want to apologize for anything that was said or done that made you feel any less than the Miss America you are and the Miss America you always will be.”
Matt Damon wants a wall between Canada and the US
Okay, before you get all huffy, Damon was being funny, jokingly referring to Donald Trump‘s not-so-brilliant idea of constructing a massive wall separating the United States and Mexico. “I’ve worked here extensively over the years. I love it here,” he told the Associated Press while promoting The Martian at TIFF, before turning on us. “But I’m really glad that we’re gonna be putting up this wall, you know, to separate these Canadians from coming in. I think it’s a really good allocation of our resources.” He wasn’t done. “A big wall because, remember they’re athletic. They’re an athletic, outdoorsy people, so we’re gonna need a few storeys. Maybe kind of like the Game of Thrones wall to the north. You guys are white walkers. We’ve gotta keep you guys out.” Hmm, wonder what the Donald thinks.
Orlando Bloom went on a date with Scott Disick’s ex
Bloom was was spotted grabbing lunch with LA stylist Chloe Bartoli. If you remember, she’s the one who Disick was cuddling with in France and Monte Carlo during a month-long party binge. Sadly, for
our gossip’s sake, Bloom wasn’t lunching with Kourtney Kardashian. Bartoli is reportedly friends with Orly’s ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, so…that explains that? Does this girl like to stir up trouble or what?
Taylor Swift won an Emmy and couldn’t stop taking selfies with it
The 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards went down on Saturday night and guess who was nominated. That’s right: Swifty herself for Original Interactive Program (for her AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience project). Welp, she won and boy, oh boy, did she let us know:

It might seem a little show-offy, but let’s be serious. If we had won an Emmy, we’d be shoving it people’s faces, too. We’d carry it everywhere we went. We’d make it our new hood ornament. We’d hang our keys from it. So, really, a few selfies aren’t that bad.
