What would it feel like to cross paths with an itty bitty version of yourself? Will and Kate know. The Royal couple was in Manchester, England this past week, and a group of school kids greeted them upon arrival. But instead of a brood of smiling children, the pair met pint-sized versions of themselves.
The crafty kids printed and cut out life-size faces of the Royal family members–from the Duke and Duchess to the Queen herself–and wore plastic, gold crowns on their heads while enthusiastically waved Union Jack flags.

As you can imagine, adorableness ensued when Will and Kate greeted themselves. The Duchess’ face was especially precious when she met the beaming little girl behind the the mask of her face.
Queen Elizabeth looked regal as ever in her jewelled crown, glasses and black winter coat worn over her blue school uniform, which included shorts. Classic Liz, really.

Camilla, Charles, Harry and even Anne made appearances, too, all hopping aboard the trend and working with a uniform as the base layer. These royal blue school uniforms are SO hot for 2017. As with most items Kate wears, we’re looking for them to sell out of stock any moment now.

Many of of the mini Royals carried their school bags, because yes, there was still learning to be done, even after meeting the most famous family in England.
But seriously, kudos to these bold kids. We’re totally being them for Halloween.
