Prince William and Duchess Kate made an appearance at Harrow College to mark World Mental Health Day on Saturday. Will wore his typical uniform of a blue Oxford shirt and khakis, while Kate looked as lovely as usual in a short-sleeve, black-and-white dress. But there was something familiar about the frock, no?
If you have a keen eye, and are a little obsessed with Kate’s fashion choices and anything to do with Prince George, then you may have noticed that the Duchess has worn the Tory Burch lattice work-patterned A-line dress before. And it was during some serious Mommy/son time.
In April 2014, the Cambridges toured Australia and New Zealand, and while in Wellington, N.Z., Catherine and George had a play date.
Sure, this time around Kate paired the dress with a small black clutch and licorice heels, and who can miss her fringe-y bangs. But last year, instead of a purse, she had her adorable son, clad in smocked overalls, in her hands and kept the accessories to a minimum.
So while she looks great now and she’s making use of that dress, we can’t help but prefer it to last year. Come on!
