Mom and daughter time

Katie Holmes doesn't post photos of her daughter very often. But because of how often she was papped in earlier years, it's not like we don't know that Suri looks a lot like her father, Tom Cruise. But as she gets older, we're starting to see more and more similarities between the 13-year-old and her mom. The Logan Lucky actress took to her Instagram Stories on Friday and shared a rare pic of her daughter. In the black-and-white snap, Katie and Suri were basically twinning as they cuddled next to one another.
Holmes actually shared two other pics of Suri this year. The first was in March when Katie and Suri visited a refugee camp in Greece, which houses those from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The other was more Katie's speed, the back of Suri as she and another child admired the view. She doesn't show her off, just posts the important moments. Gotta love that.

Barack Obama's 2019 list of favourite movies and shows are out and it's fantastic

It's that time of year when Barack Obama reveals his favourites of the year when it comes to books, movies, TV shows and music. The former president listed his film recommendations on social media on Sunday, writing in the caption, "This year's list includes everything from explorations of class dynamics and relationships, to an inspired reboot of a classic graphic novel, to a portal back to one of the most special places in history — an Aretha Franklin concert." Obama also noted the Netflix documentary, American Factory, that he and wife Michelle Obama worked on, also made the cut. Olivia Wilde, director of Booksmart, couldn't believe it and used a gif of the movie's star, Beanie Feldstein, to better articulate her thoughts. In addition to the films, Obama listed three series — the second season of Fleabag, Unbelievable and Watchmen — that he described as shows he considers to be "as powerful as movies."It does beg the question, if Obama loved Season 2 of Fleabag so much, it's safe to assume he likely watched the first season. Which could've been awkward if he watched with Michelle by his side as the show's very first episode shows Phoebe Waller-Bridge's character having a little too much fun watching Barack giving a speech. Fleabag FTW!

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's figure skating video is amazing

This video of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend figure skating probably didn't break the internet but it may have broken the ice. Or Chrissy's hip.The couple were at a rink as Legend sang Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" while twirling Teigen. She was attempting to pirouette with some grace but ended up falling down in a heap. As Chrissy lay there, virtually lifeless, John attempted to skate over to her without joining her and, well, let's just say these two might want to take lessons alongside their daughter, Luna, and son, Miles, if they ever want to do a big family skate.

Chrissy was a pretty strict judge, giving her and John a piddly score. We would've at least thrown a 2 their way.

Florence Pugh's response to someone's comment about her and Zach Braff's age difference is pretty perfect

It doesn't matter how hard celebrities try to keep their private lives private, things will always get said about them. And while Zach Braff and Florence Pugh have never kept their relationship a secret, they don't exactly advertise it either. Pugh recently posted a photo of herself in front of Greenblatt's Deli in L.A. when one fan took to the comments to tag Braff and write, "you're 44 years old."That's right, Zach is 44, Florence is 23, and the commenter had a problem with that. But Florence doesn't, nor does she have a problem telling the commenter off in fine form.

It's unknown how long they've been together but Braff and Pugh worked together on the short film In the Time It Takes To Get There, which the Scrubs star wrote and directed. It was released in April, and shortly after the two were first spotted together. And maybe we'll be seeing more of them. The two attended the New York premiere of Little Women, in which Pugh co-stars, though they didn't pose with one another. They also attended the premiere of Marriage Story in November but walked the red carpet separately. Hmm, actually, perhaps we won't be seeing more of them if they continue with that trend.

Dean McDermott's ex-wife joined him and Tori Spelling for the holidays

Dean McDermott and his ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, haven't always had a great post-divorce relationship. But sometimes, all it takes is a little time to go by before minor miracles can happen. McDermott's current wife, Tori Spelling, took to Instagram to share how "something good came out of 2019," along with a photo of her and Mary Jo posing for a selfie.
Spelling added how she never thought it would happen but she enjoys the "new friendship" she and Eustace have formed, adding that they've "started a new blended family tradition celebrating the holidays together."McDermott and Eustace were married from 1993 to 2006 and share son Jack, 21. Mary Jo adopted daughter Lola, 14, after they split. Dean and Tori have five children, son Liam, 12, daughter Stella, 11, daughter Hattie, 8, son Finn, 7, and son Beau, 2.
