If you want to hear Katy Perry‘s new track “Chained to the Rhythm,” you’re going to have to play her little game first. The 32-year-old pop star set up a sort of worldwide treasure hunt for some disco balls that fans can plug into to hear the new jam.
Okay, we’re interested…
According to the official site, the only option for Canadians is at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto, which, lucky for us, is right in our back yard.
You can also chain yourself to Perry’s rhythm in San Francisco, LA, NYC, in Paris out front of the Moulin Rouge, Leicester Square in London, Buenos Aires, Sydney, Tokyo and more.

Perry announced the experience on her Instagram last Wednesday with this video, which includes a couple seconds of what we’re guessing is the new track. There are some other snippets people have recorded going around the web, but they’re being removed just as fast as they go up. If you want to hear the song, you’re just going to have to travel…or wait just a little longer until the official release.
Oh, and if you are about to set off on a pilgrimage to one of these shiny music balls, don’t forget to BYOH (Bring Your Own Headphones).
