It’s been nine years, which means we’re right on schedule for 1990s heartthrobs, and frankly 2018 heartthrobs (still got it) Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves to reunite on the big screen. This time around, the pair are showing off their comedic sides with the new rom com Destination Wedding. Consider us RSVP’ing a ‘Yes’ with a plus one.

In Destination Wedding, Reeves and Ryder play Frank and Lindsay, two guests to a destination wedding who loathe everything about the event they’re attending, from the flight, to the forced group activities, to the fact that they’re not the ones getting married (Ryder’s character is exes with the groom). The two find themselves continually pushed together as the odd men out and dun dun duuuuunnnn…we’re pretty sure they start to fall for one another.

The trailer is packed with hilariously awkward encounters, spotlighting the chemistry and timing Reeves and Ryder share with one another; after decades in the business and so many films together what else would we expect? Destination Wedding is the fourth time the actors have shared the screen, starting in 1992 with Bram Stoker’s Dracula, followed by 2006’s A Scanner Darkly and in 2009 with The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.

Most recently, Ryder has been playing Joyce Byers in the hit retro sci-fi series Stranger Things, while Reeves recently signed on to reprise two very different roles, including starring in John Wick 3 and Bill & Ted Face The Music.

After viewing the trailer for Destination Wedding, you may feel the same as us and begin to wonder, do these two ever age?

So, no, they don’t age. Destination Wedding hits theatres with these two beautiful vampires on August 24.
