If you want to catch Keanu Reeves’ attention, we recommend putting something down in writing. Really, really big writing on a poster board. That’s what one fan did, and the move worked, with an autograph and a group picture proving once again that Keanu Reeves is the best.
Reeves is currently in Lousiana filming the highly anticipated and long awaited Bill & Ted Face the Music. While on his way to set this week, Reeves spotted a sign on the front lawn of a local home, which read “You’re breathtaking.” Knowing the sign was for him, Reeves stopped the car and jumped out, not only putting his autograph on the sign, but also introducing himself to the family of fans. The autograph session was captured by Bill & Ted writer Ed Solomon, who shared the moment on Twitter.

The sign belonged to the Hunt family, with Stacey Hunt telling CNN that her 16-year-old son Ethan came up with the idea to post a sign for the Canadian actor, knowing he was currently in town shooting the third film in the Bill & Ted franchise. Hunt told CNN that she spotted people in her yard looking at the sign, and when she went outside, she realized it was Reeves, who asked for permission before adding his autograph. Could Keanu be any nicer? “What you read about him being such a great person with a great heart is true,” said Hunt. “At least that’s what I think from my few minutes with him.”
The sign was a reference to Reeves’ comments earlier this year during a panel at the E3 conference, where the actor made a surprise appearance and announced his involvement in the video game Cyberpunk 2077, calling the experience ‘breathtaking.’ This prompted a member of the audience to yell “You’re breathtaking,” because facts, with the moment quickly becoming an internet meme and yet another reason why 2019 will forever be known as the year that Keanu Reeves became the internet’s boyfriend.
Keanu’s recent sweet move is the latest bullet point on our ‘Year of Keanu’ list that also includes starring roles in Toy Story 4, Always Be My Maybe, and John Wick 3, with 2019 culminating in Reeves finally receiving his long overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Our stanning of the woke and dreamy Keanu continues.
