Imagine this: you’re walking down the produce aisle at Whole Foods, and while contemplating whether or not to splurge on some organic McIntosh apples, you notice none other than Kelly Clarkson — the Kelly Clarkson — standing across from you. "A Moment Like This" starts playing on loop in your head. What do you do?Do you channel The 40-Year-Old Virgin and yell out “Kelly Clarkson!?" Do you ask her for a selfie? Would you shake her hand?According to Kelly's recent Tweets, some fans have been taking a rather intimate approach to their meetings with the star, who recently launched her own talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. Sure, we all have certain celebrities w'd love to meet, but going in for a kiss seems a little forward, no?In response to her tweet, a fan made sure to ask if hugs are also a no-go. Clarkson, we hear you. Hugs, fist bumps, and handshakes are definitely still on the table. And for those of you wondering, fans can also confirm that KC dishes out some great hugs. So it kinda feels like a win-win -- a hug from Kelly Clarkson, AND everyone's boundaries are respected. This isn’t the first time a beloved celebrity has spoken out about fan encounters and meeting etiquette. From Ellen DeGeneres detailing the times fans have followed her into the bathroom (and talked to her through the stall), to Justin Bieber’s 2016 Instagram post about taking pictures with fans, more stars have been opening up about their personal boundaries and comfort levels when it comes to living in the public eye.
