Well, it looks like Kendall Jenner wants to put the Kendall Jenner vs Models trial to rest. The model was put under blast when Love magazine shared a quote by Jenner on their Instagram account:

Models were offended at Jenner’s remarks, mostly pointing out that they work hard out of necessity, not choice. But Kendall says that her words were misconstrued. “It was intended to be entirely complimentary but unfortunately, my words were twisted & taken out of context,” she starts.

Unfortunately, not everyone was swayed by Kendall’s words. Twitter wasn’t convinced that Kendall’s apology was sincere, nor were they interested in hearing her out.

Ouch. The vitriol went on and on, with people comparing this moment to Kendall’s tone deaf Pepsi commercial. To be fair, there were a few lonesome tweets of support coming Jenner’s way.

In a world where bringing people down online is so rampant, we kinda think Kendall deserves a bit of a break. True, her lifestyle is extremely privileged, and what she said originally was pretty questionable. But if she means what she says — and acknowledges the hard work that her fellow models truly put into their jobs — at what point does calling someone out turn into bullying?
