If you’ve ever wanted to look ‘thin AF’ just scroll on over to Khloe Kardashian’s pay-to-use app — she’s got five must-know tricks for looking slimmer than you actually are. Does that statement make you cringe? Good, because it should.
Over the weekend, the reality star posted a link on Twitter to her website and app, Khloe With A K, which takes users to a story called “5 Hacks to Look Thin AF in Pics.” In order to read the dumpster fire of a story, folks first have to pay $2.99 USD for a monthly subscription to access the content. Ugh!
“I got you boos,” she wrote on Twitter with a winking emoji.
I got you boos!! 😉 https://t.co/9iIWetwvkC

But it seems that the only thing the pregnant star “got” was major backlash from fans. Many have been quick to point out the problematic messaging that the Kardashian sister is pushing, taking to Twitter to publicly express concern:
Why don’t you try and use your platform to encourage people to be themselves? I don’t agree with “5 hacks to look thin AF in pics” everyone is beautiful in their own way. people don’t need to look thin just for Instagram. I really like you as a person Khloé but don’t like this.

How about you teach women to love their bodies as they are?! Who cares about being thin when there are donuts to eat?!

This is so problematic. Influencers like you should be promoting people loving themselves instead of trying to change their appearance for photos. I expected better.

You’re all about “body positivity” and yet you’re giving hacks to people on how to look thinner? 😒

“Dolls, you know I’ve never met a filter I didn’t like and I don’t hate on Photoshop, but there are even more stealth ways to look like you have a sick bod in pics,” Khloe (or a ghostwriter, more likely) says in the story.
The 31-year-old then goes on to share the five hacks young girls and women can do to ensure they always have a ‘sick bod’ in photos. Vom.
According to E!, Khloe’s tips include some outrageous advice, like hiding the shape of your body behind a group of friends, which she says can “literally halve yourself.” Some or all of your face will still be showing, so Khloe suggests that you stick your chin out to “just say no to double-chin vibes.”
Other than using your squad as a human shield, Khloe suggests you take photos from above because it’s the only good angle. She also offers some fashion advice to fake a skinnier frame: wear only black and vertical stripes. Those florals you wanted to sport this spring? Nope, they “add instant bulk.” Sorry.
This is one of the lowest moves any member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan has made in a while. Let’s hope Khloe comes to her senses and apologizes for this major editorial misstep. Because we don’t want to have to unfollow…but we will.
